The importance of family and cultural connections has never been more relevant than now. During the lockdown, we have been working with the Sutton African and Caribbean Cultural Organisation (SACCO), who support residents in the London boroughs of Merton, Croydon and Sutton to help them access enrichment and leisure activities in the local area with an African and Caribbean focus. Thanks to our partnership with SACCO, local residents have been receiving our delicious tropical fruit and veg boxes, conveniently delivered to their front door.
The South Norwood Community Kitchen is a community that uses food and people power to build new ways to live together, based on care, solidarity and collaboration.
The SNCK is much more than just a place to eat! It's where people form new friendships and a sense of belonging.
Launched in 2017 by a small group of committed local people looking to provide free food for local homeless people, the kitchen now welcome hundreds of people every week to their community cafe, run by a huge group of incredible volunteers.
Through our food donations, we at Windrush Bay are proud to be part of the SNCK vision which enables them to deliver a fantastic and much cherished service in their community.

Start Up with Seven Dials is an initiative developed by Seven Dials to celebrate and support budding UK brands that either launched or developed their business in the face of Covid-19.
In March 2020, Designer Tihara Smith was announced as the winner of Start Up with Seven Dials and was offered a fantastic opportunity to open a pop-up shop in the heart of the West End. Tihara’s designs take inspiration from the Caribbean with a London twist, some crafted by hand, using contemporary and traditional techniques. With the help of Seven Dials, Tihara Smith and Windrush Bay created a tropical oasis in the heart of London. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to collaborate and showcase our selection of products inspired by the Caribbean and the Windrush Generation.
